About Me

I am an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Indiana University, Bloomington. I received my Ph.D. from the University of California, San Diego in 2018. My research focuses on ideology and public opinion in China. I use survey data to map the belief systems of Chinese citizens and to understand how ideology shapes political choices under authoritarian rule.

You can hear more about my research on the Pekingology Podcast with Jude Blanchette, and the Sinica Podcast with Kaiser Kuo.
