About Me
I am an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Indiana University, Bloomington. I received my Ph.D. from the University of California, San Diego in 2018. My research is focused on understanding the belief systems of Chinese citizens, the ways in which ideology shapes political choices under authoritarian rule, and the historical legacies of repression and social movements.
I am currently writing a book on ideology and public opinion in China. You can hear more about my research on the Pekingology Podcast with Jude Blanchette, and the Sinica Podcast with Kaiser Kuo.
